How I love this time of year, the baked goods, the delicious meals prepared and most of all being surrounded by my family.
This day certainly makes me feel like a kid again and why not, from all the treats to eat, Im going to be hyped on sugar. I CANT WAIT.

Last but not least,
A very happy Diwali to all those that are celebrating, I hope this auspicious day is filled with wealth, prosperity, delight and brightness.

My Look
This beautiful punjabi and scarf is from Indian, my mom brought it back for me when she went in 2011. This is the first time Im wearing it, as it was packed away and I completely forgot about it. The black, maroon and silver go so well together that the outfit stands for itself. In SA I would get my Punjabi's from Durban, my go-to store is Jayshrees. However, before finding this gem, I thought I could get one made, which I do suggest for those who struggle to get pretty pieces in your area.
The two bangles are also from Indian and the septum nose ring is from Lovisa. Normally I wouldn't accessorise my nose but to my surprise I loved it.
I paired pearl earrings ( Touch Of Gold Designing Jewellers) with the outfit to keep it subtle.
Leggings are from Cotton On, very comfy and lastly my jelly shoes are from Woolworths. They have a touch of stones to compliment the outfit.
